Compton Archery meets on alternate Saturdays from 10:00 – 14:00 and Friday evenings 18:00 – 21:30. Fridays are open to all but there is no club equipment available so you must have your own. Saturdays are split into a number of separate sessions (detailed below) depending on numbers and skill levels of those attending. Beginners and those requiring club kit will always be on a Saturday.

Prices are as follows:

All regular archers must be a member of the Sports Governing body, Archery GB. This costs approximately £54 Adult, £15.50 Junior per year and is renewed in September (the end of the outdoor season). Pro-rata prices are usually available for those joining more than half way through a year.

Regular club attender: £3.50 Adult, £3 Junior per session (normally 1.5 – 2 hours).

Beginners course prices in 2022 are £80 Adult, £50 Junior and include a 4 week course normally done on alternate Saturdays (weather allowing). This includes rental of all the kit you’ll need.

Visiting AGB members: £6 per session.

Saturday sessions are normally split as follows (but emails are sent to confirm):
10:00 – 12:00 – Beginners and novice archers requiring coaching
12:00 – 14:00 – Intermediate archers (usually with own kit) with coaching available but not mandatory
14:00 – 16:00 – Advanced archers (with own kit) who do not require coaching. (also expected to help pack up).
